Welcome back, crawlers! Today, we are following up on our Dungeon Crawler Carl inspired Princess Donut Mead Part 2—our spiced maple (acerglyn) mead—to check in on how primary fermentation went after three weeks in the fermenter. Make sure to keep an eye on your equipment today, because things get a little fragile in the kitchen!

Hello fellow crawlers. If there is one rule in the dungeon, it is that if Grand Champion Princess Donut Queen Anne Chonk wants something, she gets it. And today, she wants mead. In this episode, we are attempting to capture the complex personality of the Queen Anne Chonk in a single drink. She is strong, she is sweet, and she is definitely a little spicy. To represent her name, we are brewing a Spiced Acerglyn—a mead made with a blend of honey and maple syrup—to emulate a maple-glazed donut as a homage to her name as well as her personality. This is a high-gravity brew designed to be both strong and sweet, matching Donut perfectly. Don't let my massive on-camera funnel fail discourage you; if I can recover from dumping must all over my counter, you can definitely make this at home!
